Understanding School Types Four-Year University o Provide associate, bachelor’s and graduate degrees o Offer a well-rounded education and flexible degrees Community College o Offer associate degrees o Typically provide pre-requisite courses that can transfer to a four-year institution Technical Branch o Provide education and training in technical fields o Offer bachelor’s and associate degrees
