Regional Employment Center Resume Writing and Interviewing Workshop This workshop is for individuals who are not getting a good response, or interviews from their resumes, and need to change the resume to better attract the attention of potential employers. The workshop is also for individuals who may be getting interviews, but never seem to land the job, or individuals who are worried about presenting themselves in a professional manner. This workshop is held every week with few exceptions. Advance registration with the Employment Center is recommended but not required.

Regional Employment Center The Career Workshop This workshop is designed to help job seekers develop the skills needed to achieve their career objectives. 1.Job Seekers will evaluate their talents, interests, and values; set goals; and develop a plan to achieve their goals. 2.The job seekers will learn how to identify and develop resources and employment leads needed to reach their goals. 3.The job seekers will learn how to effectively communicate with resources. 4.Finally, the job seekers will learn how to negotiate, grow in their new position, and advance in their career. Pre-registration is required for this workshop

Regional Employment Center Career Workshop for Professionals This workshop is for professionals with skills, education and training who are focused on their careers, but are having a difficult time finding and securing a job in their desired field. It is in-depth, extremely interactive and is the ultimate workshop for the true professional. Pre-registration is required for this workshop

Regional Employment Center Networking Group The Networking Group meetings are for those who have completed the 2-day Career Workshop for Professionals and who are currently unemployed or underemployed. Objectives of the meetings are to: 1.Provide additional training 2.Discuss questions about the job search process and problems 3.Develop networking contacts 4.Sharpen job search skills, and 5.Increase motivation
