Heritage Project 3 rd Grade

Heritage Project Information Due 11/19 My Heritage Project Family Tree: Use the family tree to fill in the name of family members. If you need a tab that isn’t there, make your own. It needs to be written neatly in pen, colored, and easy to read. Recipe Card: Write a family recipe that is important to your culture. (No need to share SECRET family recipes.) If there isn’t enough room, then make your own card. It needs to be filled in correctly, easy to read, and neatly written. Family Artifact Brochure: Students will research a family artifact. Students will fill out the questionnaire through family interviews. The information will be transferred onto the artifact brochure. It needs to be written neatly in pen, colored, and easy to read. Spelling, grammar and punctuation will be assessed. Artifact: Students will bring in their personal artifact to share with their classmates. Students will be creating a cultural museum with a visual display using their artifact, recipe card, family tree and artifact brochure. Recipe Card List ingredients does not need to be in complete sentences. List directions 1.,2., 3., Make colorful and presentable. Artifact is under recipe card. Artifact must be present.

Add color to family tree and brochure. Make them POP! Remember siblings on family tree do not need to all be filled in but parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents should. Brochure is taking information from the research page.
