National Plan for Food Security and Poverty Reduction A Thought Exercise

You are the Minister of Agriculture of a low middle- income country. The object of the exercise is to develop a national plan to improve food (and nutrition) security and achieve significant poverty reduction. You must decide on the priority outputs and activities that you think will be both doable and effective. You must decide on the priorities also in context of competing ministries such as health and industry. You will have a national budget and access to donor funds (bilateral, multi-national, World Bank, etc.) that you will need to attract with your plan.
