Objective: To review 4 specific individual assessments of prior student learning Military training- Skill simulation or Demonstration- Interview-based Assessment- Portfolio Assessment

Faculty's Role in Credit for Prior Learning Background Responsibility of Full-time Unlimited faculty not adjunct faculty Several colleges and Universities award credit for prior learning experiences- our competition for students Focus of Minnesota State System (MNSCU)

Faculty's Role in Credit for Prior Learning Concept map Assessment of Student’s knowledge, skills or abilities related to specific courses and competencies. Assessments will be graded

Faculty's Role in Credit for Prior Learning Concept map Assessment of Student’s knowledge, skills or abilities related to specific courses and competencies. Assessment should fit competencies of a course with an objective evaluation process. Demonstration Challenge examination Portfolio assessment Interview-based assessment Evidence of occupational training – such as Military transcript
