The Life Cycle a Plant By Tyrece Grade 2

Seed Inside the seed is a tiny new plant. The outside of the has a seed coat.

Germination The seed gets the right amount of soil, water and sun light. The seed starts to grow roots and a stem It sprouts.

Roots and Stem Roots grow down to get water and minerals from the soil. They hold the plant in place. The stem grows up to make branches and leaves.

Leaves and Flowers Leaves use the sun to make food. Many plants make flowers.

A powder which makes seeds is inside the flower. Bees move the powder from one flower to the next. Pollination

New Seeds New seeds get back into the ground by wind, water and animals. Then the cycle starts again.
