Preparations ● Cleanup Saturday, 11 October 0900 – Weeds, rocks, debris – NMT, FFA also helping – Pizza provided ● Setup Saturday, 18 October 0700 – Signs – PA system – Information/Recruiting booth – Other tasks

Information/Recruiting Booth ● CAP Factsheet ● Recruiting materials ordered from NHQ ● Flyers (to be printed) ● Promote CAP to potential Seniors and Cadets ● Make general public aware of our services
Directing and Assisting ● Be familiar with airport layout, event venues ● Help promote safety, report hazards ● Greet visiting pilots, give breakfast tickets ● Assist organizers, staff as needed
Flight Line ● Safety, Safety, Safety! ● Orange Vests ● No hats, no salutes ● Beware of FOD ● Watch visitors! ● Be aware of security concerns

JET BLAST CHALLENGES DO NOT WALK BEHIND aircraft with beacon flashing AIRCRAFT SAFETY ZONES –Between 13 and 16 feet forward of engine inlet –Up to 100 feet to the rear of the aircraft –Powerful suction could pull people into inlet killing them instantly –Jet blast can exceed 300 mph
