Project Share TEA initiative to develop and deliver high quality professional development in an interactive and engaging learning environment A collection of Web 2.0 tools and applications to provide professional development for teachers and build professional learning communities Materials are in Epsilen, a learning management system

Supporting Teachers with Project Share In Project Share, teachers can: Complete online professional development modules Collaborate and share resources with other teachers same interests same professional development needs Access digital content Online repositories State-owned instructional materials

Supporting Students with Project Share Teachers will be able to provide online resources for Students will be able to access electronic textbooks Students will be able to access state-owned instructional materials, and other resources developed through partnerships between TEA and content development partners

Project Goals Help students exceed the minimum score required on each high school STAAR assessment in order to meet graduation requirements Prepare all students to meet the college-readiness component of the Algebra II and English III STAAR assessment

Project Specifics Online learning tools for students in the Math, science, English/language arts and social studies Within TEA’s Project Share platform Aligned with STAAR and TEKS Free to use

Subject Areas Math Algebra I, Algebra II & Geometry Science Biology, Chemistry & Physics English/Language Arts English III Social Studies U.S. Geography, U.S. History & World Geography Growing to include middle school courses

Content Specifics Organized into courses by subject Up to 80 lessons in each course (~600 lessons) Each lesson has content, interactives, assessments w/feedback & additional resources Lessons developed by Texas classroom teachers & reviewed by curriculum experts Uses open source materials
