Graphing Ordered Pairs

An ordered pair of numbers is a set of 2 numbers è5 is the first number of the ordered pair è3 is the second number of the ordered pair Such as (5, 3)

Each ordered pair can be shown by a point on a grid like this one:

Rules to locate the ordered pair (5,3). Follow these steps: Start at 0 (origin) Move over to the right the same number of places as the first number of the ordered pair From this spot move up the number of places as the second number of the ordered pair

A B C D Which point shows the ordered pair (6,7)? ABCDABCD

A B C D Which point shows the ordered pair (3,9)? ABCDABCD

R Letter R represents which ordered pair? (7,8)(8,7)(8,8)(7,7)(7,8)(8,7)(8,8)(7,7)

P Letter P represents which ordered pair? (6,2)(2,6)(1,6)(6,1)(6,2)(2,6)(1,6)(6,1)

Which ordered pair is inside the triangle? (5,3)(6,8)(3,5)(6,1)(5,3)(6,8)(3,5)(6,1)

Which ordered pair is NOT inside the circle? (5,4)(6,2)(8,1)(1,8)(5,4)(6,2)(8,1)(1,8)

Which ordered pair is inside the circle AND the triangle? (8,3)(4,3)(8,4)(5,6)(8,3)(4,3)(8,4)(5,6)

Move on the grid (OVER, UP)
