Let’s get startedLet’s get started  Nelson Mandela- Go through and highlight: Names, Dates, Significant Events  Focus: How did Mandela’s childhood contribute to his leadership and political uprising?

Collecting Important Information!  Let’s see how effective your highlighting is!  With your seat partner, locate information from your text (hopefully highlighted).  Fill out your handout!  Anything “directly quoted” or facts that you put into your own words (paraphrased) must have a page number!
