Forever Angels...caring for some of Africa’s most deprived children…

If you saw a child suffering like this, could you walk on by....?

Could you turn away and leave an innocent child starving….?

Or ignore the fact they are being severely abused?....

Could you walk past and turn a blind eye to a child being severely neglected?…..

… or leave them alone on the road side where they were abandoned…?

Could you tell your self it’s not your problem and leave them to die?..... Could you walk on …and do nothing?

I couldn’t…. And so Forever Angels Baby Home was born.

I come from a loving, caring family and I until I met these children in Tanzania – I had not really considered a childhood not filled with love and support and care…..when I saw such a need here….I had to do something about it. My husband and I have adopted 4 children from Tanzania ourselves – but there are SO many more children around the world who need families, love, compassion and care….

Forever Angels takes care of such children and gives them a home….a future – and most of all LOVE.

I am the Volunteer Founder and Manager of Forever Angels Baby Home…..but it would not be the wonderful place it is without the amazing staff and volunteers who work with me…

Our goal is to try to stop children from becoming orphans… Reunification when a mother dies: In Tanzania mothers often die in childbirth and many fathers are left with large numbers of children and no means to care for them. Forever Angels Baby Home gives a loving home to these babies, often while providing employment to their fathers and helping to support any siblings – until the baby is weaned and can be returned to their family.

Sick Children Forever Angels also cares for children who are very sick and whose families are unable to nurse them back to health. Many of these children are HIV positive, or have sickle cell or are severely malnourished. We give these children love and good medical care until they are healthy enough to return home.

Abandoned children Forever Angels also works with Social Services to find loving adoptive families for children who have been abandoned and who have no one else to care for them.

Temporary Care Forever Angels Baby Home also provides a temporary home to children from very poverty stricken families who are in desperate need until their families are able to care for them again.

No child is too ill….too badly abused…or too traumatised for Forever Angels Baby Home. Every child is welcomed, loved and well cared for until a more permanent home can be found for them.

Our world has many problems, but innocent children should not be suffering…..they should be smiling.

…and at Forever Angels there are always smiles and giggles aplenty.
