1.Support to the TVET Sector in Pakistan (TVET 1) Main objective: To improve the quality and outreach of skill trainings provision predominantly in the rural areas of Pakistan in response to the needs of the economic sector. Component 1 Institutional structure and governance of the TVET sector improved; cooperation and coordination modalities agreed between NAVTTC, provincial authorities, the private sector and civil society to jointly implement the TVET reform; and policies on TVET financing framework developed.

Component 2 National Qualification Framework (NQF) for TVET developed and introduced in priority sectors; Private and public TVET institutions better managed with professionalized staff that delivers modular competency-based training in agreed sectors.

Component 3 Training delivery and labour market services in selected economic sectors successfully adapted to local conditions by capitalizing on innovative elements of the TVET reform and by introducing the concept of Learning Regions.
