SOFTBALL THE BATTING TEAM Base 1 Base 2 Base 3 Homebase Batting Team Each player gets 3 chances to hit the ball into play. Out of Play If the ball is hit into play then the batsperson MUST run A ball hit ‘out of play’ is called a FOUL HIT and the batsperson is given another chance.

SOFTBALL THE BATTING TEAM Base 1 Base 2 Base 3 Homebase Scoring Runs When the ball is hit into play the batsperson runs to Base 1. They must put their foot on it.
