WHAT IT IS, AND WHY IT MATTERS. Key Club/SIA at RHS (Youth programs of the Kiwanis Club and Jefferson Service Awards)

Who we are: A club dedicated to community service in the Roosevelt community. We have weekly meetings on Thursday before school starts, and are led by Student Officers: Room 230, 7:30am-8:00am

What we do: The RHS Key Club participates and organizes service projects, including fundraisers and volunteering for charities. We work to incorporate participation from throughout our school and community.

Trick Or Treat For UNICEF We went out on Halloween night and raised money to help eliminate neo-natal tetanus* We helped raise over $530. *A disease that affects women and children in over 25 countries, often fatal.

Feed My Starving Children We have organized a monthly outing with the entire RHS school, students are encouraged to go and prepare food.

Why it matters: Opens doors to future opportunities. Students give back to the community. Teaches students the process of how service learning works. Helps students earn service hours for the academic programs at Roosevelt, college applications, and scholarships.

Come join us!
