Vermont Maple Syrup Foliage Country

To think it starts with a tree... Did you know…. Native Americans used to take rocks that had been heated in the fire and drop 'em into a carved-out wooden bowls filled with sap from the Maple tree. The rocks were hot enough to make the sap boil. As you might imagine, this was a slow process but so worth it!

Enjoy Making Homemade Maple Syrup MATERIALS NEEDED: 1 tap, hook, bucket and cover (for each tap) 3/8 drill bit large pot candy or sap thermometer cheese cloth another clean pot jar or can to hold the final syrup
