Golden Jubilee In 2002, Elizabeth II celebrated her Golden Jubilee, marking the 50th anniversary of her coming to the Throne.She toured the Commonwealth countries. There was a pop concert in the gardens of Buckinghem Palace, and a Service of Thanksgiving at St.Paul’s Cathedrel.

Silver Jubilee In 1977, the Queen celebrated her Silver Jubilee, marking the 25th anniversary of her coming to the Throne.There were sporting events festivals, races,concerts and other activities in her honour. There was a royal procession in the golden State Coach and a service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul’s Cathedrel.

Diamond Jubilee- 60 Years on the Throne At the beginning of June 2012, Queen Elizabeth II celebrated the 60th anniversary of her rise to the throne -her Dimond Jubilee. The main celebrations took place from 2 to 5 June 2012.

Jubilee Celebrations. The most important and spectacular ceremonies are a grand peagant of boats on the Thames a service of thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral. a formal carriage procession a luncheon with Commonwealth leaders a open-air concert outside Buckingham Palace a balkony wave and salute a jubilee tour around the country

The Place to The Party With a four-day weekend London was the place to party with millions coming to the capital to toast the Queen.

Drapping the Houses with the Union Flag People living along the Thames showed their support for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. They drapped their homes with the Union Jack.

Cruising Along the Thames Thousands of people gathered along the Thames and packed Westminster Bridge and Tower Bridge to get the best view of the Queen as she cruised along on the Thames.

The View from the London Eye The view from the London Eye: Crowds packed Westminster Bridge as the royal barge and escort passed the Houses of Parliament.

The 1,000-strong Flotilla The 1,000-strong flotilla was the most spectacular nautical event in London for the past 350 years. 1,000 boats, assembled from across the UK, the Commonwealth and around the world, sailed down the Thames. They were led by The Queen in the Royal Barge.

The Royal Barge The royal barge passed under Tower Bridge against a backdrop of ultra-modern glass buildings. The magnificent pyramid-shaped Shard is the tallest building in the European Union.

Diamond Jubilee Celebrations The Queen wore a stunning silver and white dress and matching coat. Its colour scheme was chosen to stand out against the red, gold and purple colours of the royal barge.

The Smiling Queen The Big day: The Queen smiled as she surveyed the packed River Thames - and the crowds which had turned out to see her from the Royal barge.

Three generations of Royals joined the Queen as she sailed down the Thames on glorious Jubilee river peagant. The boat has been decorated with nearly 10,000 flowers. London Philharmonic Orchestra played 'Singing in the Rain' as they traveled down the river. Three Generations of the Royals

Fireworks Fireworks went off at Tower Bridge as the pageant reached its conclusion.

Thanksgiving Service in St Paul’s Cathidrel The congregation sang the national anthem at the conclusion of a Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul's Cathedral.

The Queen’s Jubilee Carriage Procession Thousands of people watched the Queen ride through the streets in her fairy-tale golden coach. The State Golden Coach was built 250 years ago.

The Balcony Wave There was a balcony wave where The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, and other Members of The Royal Family appeared on the Balcony.

“Fire of Joy” “ Fire of Joy” – a celebratory cascade of rifle fire given as a salute by The Queen’s Guard from the Forecourt.

The Salute Salute: The Honourable Artillery Company fired a 41- round Gun Salute to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee

The Big Jubilee Lunch On that day there was The Big Jubilee Lunch. The Big Jubilee Lunch was another way to organise huge street parties all across London!

Free “diamond tickets” The diamond jubilee concert organisers gave 10;000 people the chance to win free "diamond tickets".

The Open-air Concert for the Queen Outside Buckingham Palace The diamond jubilee concert featured stars from pop, rock and classical music, who performed in front of the royal family.

Travelling by the Supper-Yacht Queen Elizabeth, 85, and her husband Prince Philip, 90, traveled by car, air, the royal train and the luxury super-yacht Leander.

Expressing Thanks These visits gave Her Majesty the opportunity to express her thanks to people throughout the country for their continued support and loyalty.

The Diamond Jubilee Medal Following the tradition of jubilees past, a Diamond Jubilee medal was awarded in various countries.

The Tradition of Monarchy Many people think that the Royals are useless and monarchy is updated. But…the British people are proud of the tradition of monarchy. Britain has had kings and queens for a thousand years-probably they’ll have them for another thousand.

Queen Elizabeth II I cannot lead you into battle. I do not give you laws or administer justice but I can do something else - I can give my heart and my devotion to these old islands and to all the peoples of our brotherhood of nations.’
