e. Analyze how the migration of people such as the Bantu and Zulu has had an impact on the economic, cultural, and political aspects of Sub-Saharan Africa.

 A group of people who originated in Cameroon and participated in one of the largest migrations in history

 Who: The Bantu people  Where: All over Africa!  When: 1000 B.C.  How: Probably walking or camel  Why: No one knows! Population too big Disagreements between people Climate change Find a better place  Bantu Migration Map Bantu Migration Map

 They also influenced two-thirds of African language.  Another important occurrence in the history of the Bantu is a split that created two major language families.

 They were the first to develop language and provides a clue when tracing the developments in Africa’s civilization.  They were the first farmers and cattle- keepers of the area.  One of the greatest mass movement of people in history  Influenced culture in many tribes of the area

 The Zulu are a group whose ancestors are the original Bantu people.  Rose to power after the Bantu migration  Largest and most influential tribe in Southern Africa
