1. Smolyan Municipality eGov project Justification –Intention of the SM municipality –Priority of ITCC –Support & Participation Objective –Interim objective : Feasibility Study –Final Objective : Dev eGov best practice based on eGovFrame Activities –eSM requirement analysis in the context of eGovFrame –Gap analysis –Project planning –Practical introducing to eGovFrame

Railway Administration Executive Agency (RAEA) eService Project Justification –Compliance with EU regulation –Support & Participation Objective –Provide automated identification of the interoperability of the rolling stock –Achieve unimpeded operation of the railway network of the EU Activities –Gap analysis between EU data model and Bg current status –Create detailed specification –Develop and implement new eRegister

Time Frame –Feb – Mar : Organize a consortium –Mar – May : Business and legal requirements analysis –May – June : Develop specification for project –June : Project call –July : Start development of the electronic register

3. IT Based Classroom Setting Justification –3,000 schools in Bg –Highly advanced education IT systems in Kr –Promote cooperation with Bg education society Objective –Establish modern IT based learning environment into regular classroom –If successful, deploy more such classrooms Activities –Study best practices to assess the approach and practices –Sourcing the solutions –Equip systems –Training Time frame : 6 months (Mar-Sep)

4. Development of the eLearning Platform for eGov training Justification –Requires appropriate skills of the public administration employees –Lack of methodologies and programs –Attended training courses are not appropriate for the civil servants Objective –Support the e-Gov implementation in Bulgaria through increasing the skills of the public administration providing modern e-Learning training using the Korean good practice Activities –Study the Korean good practice –Development a methodology and modules for training –Development of e-Learning Platform –Pilot training of trainers –Round Table (with Korean experts) in Sofia Time frame : 8 months (Feb – Oct 2012)

5. Biometric Recognition Implementation Justification –Introduce advanced Identification system in BG Objective –Transfer good practices and knowhow form Kr and adapt them in Bg Activities –Analysis of the needs of Bg state and municipal administrations –Adaptation of the software and algorithms available from Kr partners to Bg environment –Pilot system implementation and testing –Analysis of the results from the pilot –Recommendations for full scale implementation in Bg Time frame : 7 Months (Mar-Oct)

6. eGovernment Awareness Justification –Successful implementation of the eGov requires the users to be aware of the provided e-Services at central and local level. –There is a lack of any promotional campaign except some short information in the media. Objective –To support the e-Gov implementation in Bulgaria through increasing the awareness of the provided e-Services among the users using the Korean good practice. Activities –Study the Korean good practice –Development a Strategy –Development an Action Plan –Conference( with Korean experts, Media, PR Agencies, Government) –Implementation Time Frame : 5 months(Feb – Jun 2012)

7. Korea Digital Contents Provision Ongoing Project –Successful Korean Movie Night programme in 2011 –Every Wednesday 6:30-8:00 pm (regularly) –20-30 participants every week(total 680 participants) –“Korea Movie Night” facebook: 425 members – Korean Prime Minister Welcoming Event: Sep 26, 2011 – Korean TV(YTN) Broadcasting :, Jan.3, Activities –Play Korean movies and documentaries –Korean ICT and Culture promotion –Support Korean Movie Night Team
