3 Ministry of State Administration and Administrative Reform 3 eGovernment Effects Efficient e-services save time and money for citizens, business and administrations –Example: e-invoicing in Denmark saves taxpayers EUR 150 mln/year Е-services contribute to the increase in transparency and limit corruption on all levels –No face-to-face contact between administration and customer –E-procurement and invoicing could result in savings in total procurement costs of 5% to 20% Technology enables administrations to re-model services to better meet the needs of citizens and businesses: the “core” of the administrative reform
