Planting Science Research Project Marion Jr./Sr. High School Science 7 Team Name: Squirrel Marines Presentation by: Daniel Moore

Our research question was: Does a change in co2 speed up germination? We chose our question because… We all had down on our suggestion sheet. We also thought it would be a good idea and fun.

We predicted that… We predicted that it would speed up germination. I believed this would be true because… Plants need co2 and with more co2 it would speed up germination.

Experimental Design What is the variable you are testing. A change in co2. Briefly describe your experimental and control group. The control group just gets sun and water while the experimental gets no oxygen and sun and water and a lot of co2 Describe what you did to make this a fair test. We put both groups in fish tanks with saran wrap on the top but we put holes in the control group saran wrap.

Our conclusion: Be sure to use data from your investigation to support your conclusion when you type it here! Our conclusion is co2 does speed up germination. It does because on March % was germinated and 66.66%

My Evaluation: group Describe one or two specific errors that you feel your made. not letting everyone do a job Only a few people new how to say the conclusion What would you do differently if you were to do your investigation over? Let make more jobs so that everyone is doing something not 2.
