Part 1 Background: A history of Durgapur During 1980, there was aboundant local varieties of food crops including one aromatic rice, plethora of fish in the beels(natural lakes) and huge medicinal plants. People were happy then having access to those. Scenarion changes by the rapid climatic change now, all the beels dry out, no more food, extinction of varieties, no more freash fish, socio-economic degradation Conflict and crime have been arisen!!! Goal: 1. Strengthen the linkages of communities and MEAs 2. Enhance the capacity of community in implementing MEAs 3. Stimulating and promoting community sustainable learning process
