Import Controls - Notification Advance notification required 4 hrs. ahead of consignment landing Usually made by an agent on behalf of the importer Provides details of consignment, including when and where it will be available for examination and what it contains Phytosanitary certificate uploaded to application 3

Top Tips To aid quicker clearance of shipments Give an accurate time on PEACH of when the goods will be available to inspect. Clearly and accurately label all boxes and packages Where possible do not mix commodities or genera of plants in the same box Do not mix controlled and non-controlled goods Pack in boxes that can easily be opened, goods inspected and re- packed. 25
