Airports, military bases, space centers. Jobs range from many work sites indoors and outdoors all around the world.

Salaries range from an average of $55,992 (less than one year’s experience) to $104,459 (20 years’ or more experience).

Requires manual, technical, and mechanical aptitude. Work is usually done in teams with a supervising engineer. Should be physically fit, have high attention to detail, and have a high level of mathematical percision.

Most universities require: 4 years of english 2-3 years of lab science 3-4 years of math (minimum of Algebra 2 or calculus) 2 years of foreign language
