HOW TO INCREASE THE EFFICIENCY OF STATISTICAL SURVEY PROCESSES  To compress time for statistical data collection Statistical indicators may be extracted from business management and accounting systems directly To modernise population surveys through the use of electronic communication networks for statistical data collection  To increase the reliability of statistical data To ensure the clarity and coherence of statistical questionnaires To revise statistical data editing rules/algorithms used in data entry programs  To improve statistical data processing methods To implement the EU-recommended statistical data editing and missing value imputation methods using standard IT tools To increase the proportion of statistical indicators for the calculation of whose estimates additional information or administrative data are used 10 4–6 September 2013, Vilnius, Lithuania High-Level Seminar for Eastern Europe, Caucasus and Central Asia Countries
