A Giant Solution The Mysterious giant solved a big problem in Baletta. What problem needs to be solved in your school or community? With a partner choose a problem and then write directions showing how to solve it. Your directions should have four or five steps. Write each step on an index card. Use signal words like first, next, and finally. Shuffle the cards. Then exchange them with another pair of students. Put the card you receive in the correct order. When you’re done, talk with the other pair about how you can improve your instructions.
