J O Y

Isaiah 12 Leader: In that day you will say: Congregation: “I will praise you, L ORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. 2 Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The L ORD, the L ORD himself, is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation.”

Leader: With joy you will draw water from the wells of salvation. 4 In that day you will say: Congregation: “Give praise to the L ORD, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done, and proclaim that his name is exalted. 5 Sing to the L ORD, for he has done glorious things; let this be known to all the world. 6 Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you.”

In that day you will say: “I will praise you, L ORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. Who is speaking? “That day” is both (+) and (-) in scripture You were angry with me.

“The greater the sense of entitlement we feel, the greater the indignation we feel about being judged by anyone other than ourselves.” - Peter Eberly If you can’t say, “you were angry with me,” there is a good chance you are living out of a sense of entitlement.

In that day you will say: “I will praise you, L ORD. Although you were angry with me, your anger has turned away and you have comforted me. Who is speaking? You were angry with me. Anger  Comfort If you have reached this point, you have made the most astonishing and glorious discovery possible!

Surely God is my salvation; Behold! Yeshuah What does salvation mean?

This only comes from a heart that knows that it was once in opposition to God, and God did something about it.
