Reasons to consider smoke free parks Tobacco use is the leading cause of death in NJ and nation Second hand smoke (ETS) ~ no safe levels according to Surgeon General and recent reports conducted in Ca. and by GASP Improve social norms to discourage youth from starting smoking role modeling Protect the environment and surrounding areas ie: butts, fires, liter and costs to clean
