Background  He was from Australia he grew up loving wildlife and he used to catch baby crocs.  At 9 years old he went in a boat and jumped into the water and wrestled with crocs.  He learnt 6 senses that he used to wrestle crocs.

His Family  His wife's name was Terri and his daughter’s name was Bindi. Bindi Terri

How He Was…  He had lots of knowledge about animals.  He ran his own zoo in Australia.  The zoo helped animals in danger.  He was popular on television because he was very lively and very brave around dangerous animals like snakes and crocs!

The Animals He Worked With…  Steve Irwin worked with lots of animals but mostly with very dangerous animals such as snakes, spiders, crocs and sometimes tigers.

R.I.P Steve Irwin  Sadly, Steve passed away 5 years ago.  He was filming under water and the barb (end of the tail) of a sting-ray went into his chest.  The news of his death was broadcast all over the world.  Terri and Bindi have continued his work at their zoo and on television.
