AMATEUR RADIO GROUP TASKS PROVIDE THE CCG WITH SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTISE ON AMATEUR RADIO SYSTEMS DURING THE PLANNING AND EXECUTION OF DISASTER COMMUNICATIONS SUPPORT. FACILITATE COORDINATION AND COLLABORATION OF AMATEUR RADIO ASSETS BETWEEN MARS, ARES AND RACES DURING DISASTERS. (UNITY OF EFFORT) PROVIDE A BACKUP LONG RANGE HF VOICE/DATA FOR SOC, CCG, DDC AND RRTF REACH BACK. ASSIST IN THE COLLECTION OF SITUATIONAL AWARENESS DATA.

UNITY OF EFFORT (ICS-800a) Unity of effort respects the chain of command of each participating organization while harnessing seamless coordination across jurisdictions in support of common objectives. Unity of effort through unified command: Response is a team effort. Effective unified command is indispensable to all response activities and requires clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each participating organization.
