Tools Helpful Tips for You and Educators: ■ Many applications are used for both renewal and upgrade (next level certificate). – If you are trying to upgrade to a professional certificate and have a renewal option, just select that option and indicate you completed the requirements. The system will automatically submit the upgrade application. ■ Many applications have an “upload documents” step. – You may skip this if you do not have documents to upload, or if you have difficulty uploading, you may mail the documents to our office to be added to the record. ■ Running Expiration Reports – We have found some anomalies with certain educators with multiple certificates and we are working on the issue ■ Compare reports with data you know and have ■ If running multiple searches in the expiration report…Search All and sort in Excel ■ Time parameters can effect the running time
