Measuring Dry Measuring Cups : Used to measure large amounts of ingredients ( MORE than ¼ cup) such as: Flour sugar brown sugar

Measuring Measuring Spoons : Used to measure small amounts of ingredients ( LESS than ¼ cup) such as: Baking Soda Baking Powder Salt Spices and Herbs Vanilla extract

Measuring STANDARD set of Dry Measuring Cups : 1/4 cup 1/3 cup 1/2 cup 1 cup Sometimes 1/8 cup Graduated set- cups ‘nest’ or stack inside each other; each cup is gradually larger than the other

Cream together butter, sugars, and vanilla. Add eggs and beat well. Mix in the flour soda and salt. With a spoon, stir in the chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased baking sheet. Bake 9 to 11 minutes. Yield 2 ½ dozen
