Army The largest group of armed forces. Best known for fighting on the ground. Also includes aviators, air defense, and medical support staff.

Marine Marines carry out missions in land, sea, and air. They are used for quick responses to emergencies at home and around the world.

Navy Known for operations at sea. Sailors serve on submarines, aircraft carriers, cruisers, destroyers, etc. Their divers go deep underwater to repair ships.

Air Force Carries our operations in the air. Spy missions, air support, and air combat are handled by the men and women of the Air Force.

Coast Guard They protect America’s 300 ports, coastlines, and waterways.
