DINNER MADE EASY BY: KASIE HOOPER No need to stay stuck in the kitchen after a long day of work or school. Plan smart, eat healthy, have extra time.

Meal planning and cutting out prep time will save you a lot of time. Deciding to prepare frozen meals is not just a decision. It takes planning, patience, organization and nearly an entire day to prepare the meals. This type of activity is a lot more fun and it goes a lot smoother if you have another person with the same interest to help you. You would just double your "supplies" so that you can make twice the amount to split between the two of you.

Five Steps to dinner done easy! ◦ Plan menu. There are a lot of resources out there with menus already made up for you. So really the hard part is already done by other people. Here is a link with recipes that I really enjoyed. You can always use several sources and pick and choose which recipes you like. 1/frozen-meal-prep.html 1/frozen-meal-prep.html ◦ Set up your kitchen as an assembly line so to speak. With everything laid out and easily accessible. You will need enough pots and pans to cook and plenty of counter space to prep the food for cooking. ◦ Cook your food in groups. So if you are making three meals with chicken. Cook all the chicken together. ◦ After you have prepped and cooked your meals, bag them and label the bags. You need to not only put what the meal is, but also the cooking instructions. Short and simple is the best way. No need for elaborative instructions. 1. Plan Menu 2. Make Grocery List 3. Set Up kitchen as an assembly line 4. Prepare and cook food 5. Bag and Label food

The most rewarding thing about this is that you cut out a lot of prep time and you wont be stuck in the kitchen each evening after a long day! Whether you decide to make crockpot or stove cooked meals, Either way you have just saved yourself time. After all, we never have enough, right?
