Research of Childhood TV Show Charley Taft

The Story of Tracy Beaker Tracy Beaker is the main character whom lives in a children's home, otherwise known as ‘the dumping ground’. Tracy was joined by many others however she though she was the ‘queen’ of the place. The characters get into many different arguments, lies and situations. The majority of the show is filmed with actors, however cartoon characters are also used in scenes to enhance Tracy's emotional status at the current time. My love for Tracy Beaker started before the show was aired My love for Tracy Beaker started before the show was aired. I read a lot of Jaqueline Wilsons books which is were the show originated from. I liked the language she used. It was almost like she understood what its like to be a teenager in care, she also used slang words which connected with the reader better as it created more of an understanding relationship. Jaqueline Wilson Image Sources: http://blog.jadeboylan.com/2011_01_16_archive.html http://money.aol.co.uk/2015/10/29/my-harry-potter-and-the-cursed-child-booking-nightmare/

VS Favourite Characters The girls are constantly fighting and arguing through out the majority of each episode. Image Sources: http://www.locatetv.com/tv/story-of-tracy-beaker/21907

Survey 10/10 people had heard of Tracy Beaker. 6/10 people watched it frequently when younger. 5/10 people would watch it again. 10/10 people said Tracy was their favourite character. I asked 10 people a variety of questions to do with Tracy Beaker and this was the result.

Bibliography & Methods of Research http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0363378/fullcredits/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Story_of_Tracy_Beaker_(TV_series) Most of my work is common knowledge, also I completed a survey in which I asked friends a variety of questions about the TV show, these are both methods of Primary research.
