Major outputs: Developed voluntary qualifications schemes and deployed "large scale" training schemes Prepared training programs Designed training forms and criteria for trainers Designed Incentives to boost demand for qualified workers Organized 20 courses for trainers & 5 training courses for workers Project Summary

Limited access to training Lack of recognized qualification schemes Lack of competent trainers and training providers Low demand market for energy efficiency The overall motivation for the partners’ action is: to upgrade national education system with voluntary qualification schemes as the starting point for lifelong learning in implementation of energy efficiency measures in building sector to provide 216 trainers and 15 instructors that will multiply the project results to meet the needs of the employees in building sectors. to design qualification schemes for non-formal education with possibility to be incorporated in formal education. Обука на градежните работници за енергетска ефикасност BUILD UP Skills BEET - Builders' Energy Efficiency Training Contract #: IEE/13/BWI/682/SI The project aims to introduce 5 different training schemes to build up the skills of the prioritized workers’ occupations concerning to building envelope, glassing, roofing, energy infrastructure and heating, ventilation and air-condition systems Objectives and main steps 1)Development the "large scale" training schemes 2)Capacity building of trainers and training providers 3)Boosting the demand for energy efficiency qualified / skilled workers on national level The organization of the actions is presented in these following steps: Development of voluntary qualification schemes Development of "large scale" training schemes for 5 different skills Information campaign for candidates for trainers to be included in “large scale” training schemes Incentives to boost demand for qualified workers main objectives

Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions tCO2e/year during the project, and tCO2 by 2020 The project results will accelerate the number of qualified workers to with chances to reach number of workers till “The Stone Age did not end because we ran out of stones; we transitioned to better solutions. Energy efficiency offers the same opportunity.” Steven Chu
