Sons of Zadok Phinehas – son of Eleazor (I Chr. 6:4) –Num. 25 – stood up for God when no one else did –God made an everlasting covenant – a covenant of peace – Mal. 2:5-6 –Priest after the order of Melchizedek Zadok his descendant (I Chr. 6:5-8) –A priest that followed God’s people – Jew and Gentile in their refuge (II Sam. 15:24) – bearing the ark –In the tabernacle of David (II Sam. 6:17) Sons of Zadok –Eze. 44:15-16 – kept God’s charge when Israel and the Levites went astray.
