THINGS TO DO IN PARIS

ILE SAINT-LOUIS

IF YOU WANT TO AVOID THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF A CITY FILLED WITH TOURISTS THEN ILE SAINT- LOUIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE FOR YOU TO VISIT. IT IS ONE OF THE 2 ISLANDS ON THE SEINE RIVER (THE OTHER ONE BEING ÎLE DE LA CITÉ), AND IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO EXPERIENCE THE THINGS TO DO IN PARIS OF THE 17TH CENTURY. IT WAS NAMED AFTER KING LOUIS IX. THE THING WHICH DIFFERENTIATES ILE SAINT-LOUIS FROM THE REST OF PARIS, IS THAT IT IS ONE OF THE FIRST PLACES MADE THROUGH PROPER URBAN PLANNING. THE PLACE THUS FEELS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER HISTORICAL PLACES, BECAUSE YOU CAN EASILY SEE HOW IT IS LAID OUT. WHAT MAKES IT EVEN BETTER IS THAT THERE ARE ONLY NARROW ONE WAY STREETS ON THE ISLAND. THERE IS NO METRO, OR BUS STATIONS HERE.

CATHÉDRALE NOTRE-DAME (NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL)

CATHÉDRALE NOTRE-DAME (NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL) IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL CHURCH IN ALL OF FRANCE, AND OFFERS SOME OF THE BEST THINGS TO DO IN PARIS. NOT ONLY IS IT HISTORICALLY IMPORTANT, IT IS ALSO ONE OF THE MOST SPIRITUAL PLACES TO VISIT IN THE CITY. IF YOU ARE EVEN A LITTLE RELIGIOUS THEN THIS PLACE IS A MUST FOR YOU. EVEN IF YOU AREN'T RELIGIOUS YOU WILL LOVE THE BEAUTIFUL GOTHIC ARCHITECTURE OF THE BUILDING. THE MOST NOTABLE THING ABOUT THE ARCHITECTURE OF THE CATHÉDRALE NOTRE-DAME (NOTRE-DAME CATHEDRAL) IS THAT WHILE THE WHOLE DESIGN IS VERY GOTHIC, IT ALSO HAS SOME ELEMENTS OF THE RENAISSANCE ERA, WHICH MAKES IT VERY INTERESTING FOR PEOPLE INTERESTED IN ARCHITECTURE.

EIFFEL TOWER

THE EIFFEL TOWER IS THE SINGLE MOST FAMOUS SITE IN PARIS. THERE IS NOT COMPETITION FOR IT, YOU CAN GO ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD AND HOW PEOPLE A PICTURE OF THE EIFFEL TOWER, AND THEY WILL KNOW IT IS IN PARIS. YOU CANNOT MISS GOING TO THE EIFFEL TOWER IF YOU’RE VISITING PARIS. YOU ALSO CANNOT MISS VIEWING IT NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO IN PARIS BECAUSE IT IS VISIBLE FROM MOST PARTS OF THE CITY. THE EIFFEL TOWER IS A MARVELOUS FEAT OF ENGINEERING. IT IS NOW CONSIDERED A PART OF THE HISTORY OF PARIS; HOWEVER THE FUNNY THING IS THAT IN THE BEGINNING IT WAS NOT THAT WAY. PEOPLE WERE ACTUALLY OPPOSED TO ITS CONSTRUCTION AND THOUGHT IT WOULD DESTROY THE VIEW. IF ONLY THESE PEOPLE KNOW HOW VALUED THE TOWER ITSELF WOULD BECOME IN THE FUTURE.

PARIS FRANCE A TRIP TO FRANCE IS INCOMPLETE WITHOUT PARIS BEING ON YOUR LIST OF PLACES TO VISIT. THIS GORGEOUS ROMANTIC CITY IS QUITE RENOWNED AND DISTINCTIVE DUE TO ITS GRAND STRUCTURES AND MONUMENTS. THIS CAPITAL OF FRANCE IS A TOURIST HOTSPOT AND A PLACE WHERE YOU CAN EXPLORE ARCHITECTURE, HISTORY, FASHION, AND GASTRONOMY IN A WAY LIKE NOWHERE ELSE.
