Bonjour Paris Antoine Gharios

Transportation I will be traveling by the metro. On the first day. The metro has 214 km of tracks, it has 14 different lines, and 380 stations. Over 6 million people use it everyday. Then I’ll rent a moped every day for the rest of my vacation.

Hotel I will be staying at the, Hotel de sers. I will be living in an apartment for the next 7 days. The price will be 2100 € a night. It’s worth it though because I get a view of the Eiffel Tower and the Notre-Dame cathedral. As you can see in the background.

Jour 1 Food: I’ll have a free breakfast at the hotel, lunch at Jet lag 30€ a person, and Dinner will be at Chez Flottles 50€ a person. For my first day I’ll be going to the Ile de la cite. There I will go to Notre-Dame and see the Statue of Liberty at the tip of the island. Note: Jet Lag is on my left and Chez Flottles is on my right.

Jour 1 monument Notre Dame: It took 200 years for it to be built. Notre Dame was dedicated for Saint Étienne. Statue of Liberty: America gave this Statue of Liberty to France as a sign of peace and friendship. It’s 35 ft tall and it stands on the island in Swan Ally, Paris.

Nuit 1 Tonight I’ll go on the Bateau mouche in La Seine. The Bateau mouche a very popular tourist attraction. It seats several hundred people. It gives a tour of the city. I’m doing this at night because I want to see what the city looks like at night time. Paid my way to the front of the line.

Jour 2 Today I’m going to get on my moped and go to Le pre sale 55€ a person. For dinner I’m going to Chez Pauline 70€. Today I’m going to Les Halles. That’s the underground mall. I’m going to the underground mall because I thought while in Paris might as well shop in Paris. Note: Chez Pauline is on my left, the Le pre sale is on my right.

Jour 2 activity Les Halles: Was a traditional central market. In 1183 King Philippe II August made it bigger for merchants can stay. At the mall I went to about every clothing store and found some glasses, a nice suit, 4 ties, and just walked around. I stayed at the mall all day. Then after dinner I went to the hotel of a rest before tomorrow.

Jour 3 Today when I got on my moped I rode around just to see some of the streets. After lunch at Palais Royal for 70 € I went to the Eiffel Tower. Then I went to dinner to Gerard Besson for 130 €. I decided to treat myself. Note: Gerard Besson is on the right and Palais Royal is on the left.

Jour 3 Monument La tour Eiffel: There are many cafes around that area so I’m going to explore. The Eiffel tower took two years to build. From 1887-1889. The tower was initially going to be built in Barcelona. But as you know it didn’t.

Jour 4 Today after I have breakfast I’m going to go the Arc de Triomphe. Then at night I’m going to see the Grande arche de la defense. The reason I’m going to these places is because I want to compare the new and the old. I’m going to have lunch at Ragueneau 40 €. Them I’m going to have dinner at L`Autobus Imperial 50 €. Note: L`Autobus Imperial is on my left and the Ragueneau is on my right.

Jour 4 Monument Arc de Triomphe: The arch stands in the center of Place de l`Etoile. In English that means star square. The arch honors those who fought for France. At the Arc de Triomphe there is the Tomb of the Unknown solider (just like the one in Washington D.C.)

Jour 5 Today I’m going to the Place de la Concorde. I’m going to spend all day there because there is so much to do in that area. I’m going to all the stores and see all the sites. Since I have unlimited money I’m going to get my family something nice. Today lunch is going to be at Roger la Grenouille 50 €. Then for dinner I’m going to Allard 90 €. Note: Allard is on my left and Roger la Grenouille is on my right.

Nuit 4 Grande arche de la Defense: This arch is a modern one that is aligned with the Arc de Triomphe. The defense is a cubed like structure that stands 348ft tall. The defense has a skate park and it is in one of the more modern parts of the city. With some skyscraper.

Jour 5 Monument Place de la Concorde: The Concorde is the largest square in Paris. It began construction in 1754 and ended in 1763. Notice in the background the really tall thing? That is what’s called an obelisque. People who went to D.C. didn’t the Washington Monument look like this?

Jour 6 Today I’m going to the exciting Louvre. I hear it’s absolutely amazing and it’s HUGE. For dinner tonight I’m got to Yachts de Paris 290 €. Can you believe I get to eat on a boat. I said, “Who cares I’m going to be in Paris two more days.” Then I’m going to lunch at Fouquet’s 105 €. This place looks like the Hotel where Jacques is staying at. Note: Yachts de Paris is on the left and Fouquet’s is on the right.

Jour 6 Monument Louvre: The Louvre displays about 35,000 pieces of art and it’s about seven miles long. The Louvre is one of the largest and most visited museums in the world. I’m going here the entire day because there’s so much to do and see. I mean it has the famous Mona Lisa and Winged Victory.

Jour 7 Well today is my last day in Paris. I recently checked out of my room at the hotel so now I’m going to my last stop. I’m going to see another art museum the Centre Pompidou with it’s modern art. I’m not getting on the plane until very late at night because I wanted to see the city at night one more time. For lunch I’m going to La Fermest St. Simon 80 €. For dinner I’m going to La Grand Vefour 390 €. Note: La Grand Vefour is on the left and La Fermest St. Simon is on the right.

Jour 1 Monument Centre Pompidou: Did you know the Centre Pompidou isn’t just a museum? It’s a bookstore, library, and movie thearter as well. The Centre Pompidou was a huge success. At first it was meant to have 5,000 people a day but then after it’s huge success they made it so over 25,000 people a day can visit it.

Back Home Now I’m back home and I tried to figure out what my favorite part of my trip was and really I can’t think of one. I mean I went to some of the most famous places in the world and I had a great time. Having unlimited money was great because I could bring back some expensive and great gifts for my family. Plus some souvenirs for myself. I had a great time and I can’t wait to go back someday.
