Choosing the right word

Learning Intention To understand homophones and use the correct word where appropriate.

Homophones Homophones are words that sound alike, but have different meanings.

Why? Although re-drafting is important for your folio pieces in secondary school you must be able to write as accurately as possible at the first attempt. We need to be able to check our own work.

Examples of homophones

Here vs Hear Easy one first!

Here = where someone or something is. » Here comes the bride.
