Paul Klee
Paul Klee 1879 –1940 Born in Switzerland; considered both a German and a Swiss painter. He was influenced by artistic movements including expressionism and cubism.
Materials Klee worked in many different media including oil paint, watercolor, ink, and pastels. He often created multi media works using a variety of materials. He used different surfaces to paint on including various fabrics, cardboard, metal foils, wallpaper, and newsprint.
