Residential Academic Programs and Residential Colleges A Flagship 2030 Core Initiative What is a Residential Academic Program (RAP) or Residential College(RC)?  RAPs: classes in a focused academic area geared toward 1st year students  RCs: multi-year programs with Faculty in Residence  Both: small class sizes, co-curricular activities, faculty-student interaction, community connections
