Description/History HIV/AIDS is a disease that people can catch that attacks your immune system. This disease really jump started in the early 80’sThis means that you can not fight of a disease as well. This disease kills millions of people every year and the research for a cure is advancing rapidly.

Importance This disease affects families all over the world. This disease does not have a cure and is very hard to live with it.
