Well, the hidden message behind that statment means a person is surrounded by something extremly dangerous. The great white shark is a fercious predator… you definately would not want to be the man in the cartoon. Here are the facts to back that statement up!

Great whites have 3,000 teeth at any one time Their teeth are triangular in shape, serrated (saw –edged), and razor sharp A teeth can be up to 3inches long Their teeth are located in rows (four rows), which rotate into place as the great white loses them

Have you ever heard the saying…“standing in a pool surrounded by sharks”?

1.Great white sharks do not chew their food. They rip into their prey and swallow mouth-size pieces whole. 2.They eat fish, ray, other sharks, seals, sea lions, otters, sea turtles, and small toothed whales. They even eat floating dead animals too! 3.The great white shark is the only shark that will go to the surface of the ocean and poke its head above the water to spot prey.

1.A great white’s nostrils (which they do not use for breathing) can smell one drop of blood in 25 gallons worth of water… 2.Their pointed snout helps them to sense the electrical charges of other animals in the water miles away. 3. If you look at the great white below you can see that the top of it is a blue/gray color…while its belly is white…that’s where the great white gets its name! 4. The color of the great white is helpful when hunting prey because the great white usually strikes from below…the dark blue/gray color blends with the water. The prey never knows the great white is coming!

I don’t have time to wory about making friends with other great whites…all I care about is eating! I even eat my own pup when it is first born…that is if it doesn’t get away from me.

So, if the great white shark lives for 100 years…I gess we can lay back and not wory about this big fish becoming an endangered species?

Yes, I will eat my own pup…but you need to understand the natural instincts of a great white. While growing in our mother’s stomach, we learn to fend for ourselves.
