Presentation transcript:

The Phoenix The phoenix is a symbol of eternal life, life after death, the circle of life, and resurrection. Only one can exist at a time. The phoenix lives for an average of 500 years.

The phoenix has the ability to recover from any wound, making it virtually invulnerable. They say that a single tear from a phoenix has the power to heal any wound, ailment, or disease. Powers

Once every 500 years, the phoenix builds a nest, and once inside the nest, sets it on fire. The bird and the nest both burn to ashes. From the ashes a new baby phoenix emerges. Death and Rebirth

The phoenix is revered as a god in some cultures, Egyptian and Greek. This bird is supposed to guard over troubled souls. God-like Status

The phoenix would arise at the crack of dawn, as the sun begins to rise over the hilltops, and lets out a song so beautiful, that all who heard this song would stop and listen to it for as long as the phoenix sang. A New Day Dawns
