About the BlackBerry  The makers of the BlackBerry are RIM (Research in Motion).  It allows you to send and receive s.  Other than the capabilities, the Blackberry allows you to surf the web wherever you are, but there needs to be a signal.  The BlackBerry not only allows people to stay connected, but it keeps them organized as well.

General Uses  All students and teachers can benefit from using this product.  Students are able to use it in many ways for education.  There will be no need for heavy bags since books will be available on the internet.  BlackBerry smartphones are very easy to use.  Millions of people prefer it because it allows them to focus on their work.

General Uses  Educators, administrators, operation staff, and students will have all mobile access to the communications and information they need with the Blackberry smartphones.  They can get started in minutes using Wi-Fi or cellular network since the Blackberry Smartphones are easy to set up and operate.  It will allow the faculty, staff, and students to be remain connected and effective through one secure solution.  Blackberry smartphones will also prepare students for the work environment with access to real world technology.

Student Uses  Blackberry is a smart way to get more done.  Whether it is conducting research, updating information, or collaborating with peers, students have mobile access to the communications and information they need to get things done.  They provide mobile access to phone, , organizer, and web browsing.  With a BlackBerry, students can stay connected and affective while they are on the go.

Student Uses  There are educational software available for Blackberry smartphones.  For example, to improve your geography, there are a pack of games which help you learn states/countries and their capitals.  To improve memory and mental awareness, there is a puzzle game with many different images.  There are also games available that look like simple shoot the UFO games, but they are very sophisticated, educational games that help you improve your calculating speed.

Teacher Uses  While teachers are at a conference, they can search for and access journal articles.  If they are at a café, they can update student records as they grade papers.  Without having to head back to your office, teachers can send a mass to an entire class.  So that teachers are never double-booked, they can enter new appointments on the spot.  From just about anywhere, teachers can collaborate with colleagues, talk to publishers, research online and manage their appoinments.

Uses in Class  Allows students to work on research and typing assignments in class.  Students will be able to get started on their work immediately after teachers finish explaining the required task.  Students can organize their homework and studying time.  They can also place reminders for coming due dates or exams on the day they are told they have an assignment due or an exam coming up.

Uses in Class  Teachers can organize their meetings and conferences.  If there is a student a teacher needs to see or give detention to, both the teacher and student can place the reminder in their BlackBerry.

Advantages  Allows you to get started on your work immediately  Research  Students and teachers can type up the documents  Students do not need to carry heavy books  Can be linked to school (so you can access your school from anywhere)  Can possibly be linked to G drive (so that is also able to be accessed from anywhere)  It has a high capacity battery.

Disadvantages  It is expensive (but worth it)  Some models are uncomfortable for left- handed people.  Current versions might not be able to edit spreadsheets and PowerPoint.
