What does school do in terms of physical activities ?

Nursery school It is at this time of childhood that the basic mobility skills develop composed of key actions: travel (walking, running, jumping) balances (stand on one foot) manipulation (grab, pull, push) throwing, object reception Nursery schools are the opportunity to build essential motor actions: move, ensure balance and manipulate objects, throwing or receiving.

The child learns to share with his comrades moments of collective games, danced and song games. All these skills are built through the practice of physical activities that contribute to direct the efforts of children and give them meaning: "jump the farthest distance possible" (athletics) is different from "jumping from one machine to fall back on your feet "(gymnastic activities). These lovely experiences express and communicate impressions and emotions.

Primary school Three hours per week of physical education and sports (EPS) target the development of motor skills and physical activity, sports and arts. It contributes to health education by allowing students to learn about their bodies, and education on security, by taking controlled risks. 108 hours per year are devoted to physical activities and sports, i.e three weekly hours of sport.

Physical education in the school curriculum Several sport and physical activity are offered each year in order to build strong learning. - To achieve performance: athletics, swimming - To adapt to different environments: orientation, climbing, rolling and gliding, horseback riding, skiing, sailing, kayaking, etc. - To develop cooperation and individual or collective opposition : fighting games, rackets … - To develop artistic, aesthetic or expressive skills : dance, gymnastic activities, circus activities

We decided to do a survey in a nursery and primary school to have a perception of students.
