Our Articled Apprenticeship Realistic and credible alternative to full time study 6 year route to qualification (same as traditional timeframe) Consists of a 4 year part time LLB, followed by an 18 month part time LPC ‘Period of recognised training’ included – no need for a training contract Apprentices will be employed by a firm and complete 45 workshops per year No need for early specialism

Careers and Employability Our LL.B includes timetabled employability sessions Our careers consultants include professional careers advisers, qualified lawyers and legal recruiters. Their combined experience provides students with specialist advice and guidance. The employability team offers one to one advice, group workshops, professional mentoring, employer talks and practice based activities.

Our Fees All our LLB courses cost a total of £18,000: 2 year = £9,000 per year 3 year = £6,000 per year 4 year = £4,500 per year Students can borrow up to £6,000 per year from student finance to cover tuition fees 3 and 4 year routes completely covered 2 year route means there is a 3k per year shortfall which must be made up by the student This can be paid in 3 instalments in line with maintenance loan payments Fee’s include all books and materials.

Graduate Salaries The average starting salary for UK graduates in employment after 6 months has been reported as between £18,000 and £24,000 (HECSU, 2014) According to the latest reports, Law has the 2 nd highest average starting salary of £38,000 Law graduates will be well placed to pay back their student loans.

Our offer to schools We work closely with schools and colleges to offer law taster workshops and professional skills sessions. Aim to inspire students to enter the legal profession, and improve their chances of success in the area. Explore Law Excellent opportunity for students to get a flavour of what it’s like to study law. Includes a careers talk, two taster workshops (Contract & Crime), and a Q&A panel with current trainees. Run twice a year at all of our centres. Takes place every March and October.
