CAISO - FERC 1000 Update CTPG is now WestConnect- strong relationship Inter-regional key coordinator (public policy projects will be bid and cost allocation will be done) Updated transmission plan released on September Involved stakeholder process - lobby CPUC & CEC to justify need As of now no new PPR projects for next cycle (LADWP Tehachapi and IID entire footprint)

WestConnect- FERC 1000 Update New Governance enacted yet states and customers vacant Planning Management Committee (PMC) running strong Work on contracts, NDAs, Planning Participation Agreement, budgets.... Study Plan draft will be voted December 2015 (CRITICAL) Scenario input (111d) and roundtrip studies Force cooperation- make them incorporate benefits to their system Strategy (new partnerships and strong pressure)

WestConnect Schedule

Debate Points with Doug ;) Role of 1000 and 111d Non-transmission alternatives -plan for less transmission - the right transmission ISO and PAC not leaving peak? could be cost, compliance, relationships and has more leverage with funding peak then otherwise.... Role of SPP in the West Western (and eight party) New Pricing Tariff
