FareShare fighting hunger, tackling food waste

About FareShare FareShare is national charity fighting hunger and food waste in the UK. We do this by rescuing good quality surplus food that would otherwise go to landfill and sending it to charities and community projects across the country Rescuing 3,600 tonnes of surplus food Feeding 36,500 people a day Supporting over 700 charities and community projects

FareShare delivers surplus food to a network of over 700 charities and community projects across the UK, including hostels, day centres, women’s refuge centres and children’s breakfast clubs Last year the food redistributed by FareShare contributed towards more than 8.6 million meals, feeding 36,500 people a day The food FareShare provides saves charities and community projects almost £8 million a year, with 81.5% redirecting this money into other support services Where does the food go?
