Tripod The use of a tripod steadies the camera so that the picture isn’t shaky, and therefore increases the quality of the videos. I may also use a set of wheels for the tripod so that I can do successful tracking shots. The tripod has a panning stick that allows me to pan the camera around on the tripod giving a smooth panning shot, without jittering. It has a changeable height so this can fit all types of shot, high and low angle as well as close ups, long and medium shots.

Digital camera This is a digital Sony Video Camera that with a screen so I can see what is being recorded. It gives extremely high quality high definition recordings that can later be rendered to high quality as well to give the audience the best viewing experience possible. The camera can also be used to take still images, this could come in useful for when I need stills for my poster and album cover as part of my digipak as I will probably use stills from the video shoot. It has a variable zoom on the camera so it can be changed to fit the sort of shot that I am doing at the time, to give it the best possible focus, again to get a high quality end product.
